Industrial grade high performance non slip tapes. Bonded aluminium oxide/ silicone carbide grain material, or PVC embossed texture. PVC or aluminium foil based material. Substrate FILLER/ Sealer:
For substrates that are difficult to adhere to (eg. grooved/ non smooth or excessively porous open cavity materials) apply substrate filler/ sealer prior to application of non slip tape.

Note: For most substrates, application of filler/ sealer is not required. Removing spoilage materials (dirt, grime, mould, oils, dust etc.), cleaning thoroughly with acetone, and allowing to dry, is generally sufficient substrate preparation to provide for strong bonding between substrate and non slip tape. Application of filler/ sealer will provide sound bonding surface to problem substrates (in preparation for application of anti slip adhesive tape).
NON SLIP TAPE APPLICATION GUIDE:
Substrate preparation is important to ensure long lasting service life of your high quality non slip tape:
General preparation incudes:
1.) Ensure surface is relatively smooth. If required, smooth excessively rough surfaces with abrasive cup wheel or via use of filler/ sealer.
2.) Ensure surface is thoroughly clean. Removal of dirt, grime, mould, oil, gum, dust etc. Depending on substrate type this can be be acheived by wiping area with a clean rag and acetone etc. Or by combination of mechanical abrasion, and the above.
3.) Ensure surface is thoroughly dry after completing cleaning process.
4.) Proceed with application of non slip tape to dry substrate.
5.) Apply firm downward pressure over entire area of anti slip tape.
6.) Application is complete and ready for service.
Note: For substrates that have rasied/ depressed surface patterns (checker plate etc), use of aluminium foil based conformable anti-slip tape is recommended. For substrates that are difficult to adhere to (eg. grooved/ non smooth or excessively porous open cavity materials) apply substrate filler/ sealer prior to application of non slip tape.
